  1. I wonder where the locks in Berks county were located. I spent a lot of time in and along the Schuylkill in Riverview and Muhlenberg Parks as a kid – 50 years ago. Even as a child riding my bike along River Road or water skiing from the general area of Dietrich’s dock, I wanted to know the river’s history that resulted in the dam that deepened the water for that short length.
